Toyota is set to reveal the North American edition of the its newest compact crossover, the 2018 C-HR, later this month, having already revealed the European model earlier this year. From what we saw at Geneva, the C-HR (Coupe – High Rider) is Toyota’s first crossover of this kind that promises to be a showstopper.

The C-HR is a lowriding, four-door subcompact CUV that is one of the most aggressive looking vehicles Toyota has ever designed. While the lines on the C-HR might not be the cleanest, they make for a mean, busy look. Toyota has promised a highly customizable interior that will also feature an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system.

Under the hood, the C-HR shown at Geneva had a 1.2 liter, turbocharged four cylinder engine, but we suspect those living in the US will be offered the choice of a 1.8 liter, 122 horsepower hybrid, or a 2.0L four-cylinder non-hybrid version. The base model will feature front-wheel drive, with all-wheel drive rumored to be optional.

You can catch the big reveal on Thursday, November 17 at 12:45pm PST on Toyota’s Livestream.
