The Italian automaker, Alfa Romeo already has one of the best sports sedans in its lineup i.e. ‘Giulia’. But now, reports suggest that a new edition will make its way into the European markets which will be dubbed as the Alfa Romeo Giulia Wagon.
The report comes from Automotive News Europe and it doesn’t mention anything about the Alfa Romeo Giulia Wagon being sold outside of Europe. In the U.S., SUVs are more popular compared to wagons, thus the automaker will launch its first-ever SUV, ‘the Stelvio’ in the U.S. next month at the LA Auto Show.
As the Alfa Romeo Giulia Wagon enters the European market, it will compete with the likes of Audi A4, Mercedes C-Class, and BMW 3-Series.
The new Giulia Sedan has been very popular in Europe and UK. It was among the best-selling premium midsize cars in the month of September 2016. With a wagon variant in the lineup, the sales of Giulia will surely skyrocket.
However, these are just speculations as we have not received any confirmation from Alfa or FCA regarding the Giulia Wagon.
