The new 2018 Chevrolet Corvette ZR1 has been caught testing on the streets of Michigan. The hood of ZR1 was heavily camouflaged, though the huge rear spoiler was visible at the rear.

The 2018 Chevrolet Corvette ZR1 was also spotted earlier this year without any rear wing. The exterior design is pretty aggressive and the rear spoiler indicates that the car will definitely be aerodynamically efficient. In the video, two different Corvette ZR1 models can be seen; one with a large trunk spoiler, while the other with a small wing. Our guess is that the smaller wing will be available as a standard feature, whereas the larger one will be available as an option.

Looking back at the previously launched ZR1 models, all of them came with a very powerful powertrain. The last model, which was launched in 2009, carried a supercharged 6.2-liter V-8 engine delivering 638 horsepower and 604 lb.-ft torque. So, we can expect the 2018 Chevrolet Corvette ZR1 to boast a more potent engine with a higher power rating.

The ZR1 is most likely to make its debut next year in January at the Detroit Auto Show. The price tag can be anywhere over $100,000.
