A new Poland based startup automotive company has developed a new concept car dubbed as ‘Varsovia’ which is a luxury sedan powered by a gasoline-electric drivetrain. The Varsovia luxury sedan concept adopts a unique exterior design inspired from a mermaid which can be found on the Warsaw’s coat of arms.
Talking about the interior, the Varsovia luxury sedan concept features an ultra-modern cabin with state-of-the-art technologies and features. It does not have a passenger seat, so backseat occupants can enjoy more space. It is also equipped with a ‘mood detection system’ which will use sensors to identify the mood of passengers and thereby adjust the hardness of the seats, lighting and music accordingly.
The Varsovia concept is powered by an extended-range electric powertrain with a battery pack located under the seats. It has a range of up to 217 miles and is capable of going from 0 to 62 (0 to 100 km/h) in less than 5 seconds.
It is important to note that Varsovia is still in concept form and the powertrain hasn’t been designed or tested yet. May be we can see a full functional model sometime later in the coming year.
