The 2017 Buick Casada Sport Touring is here featuring an all-new engine, an exclusive True Blue Metallic paint shade, and a spruced up interior. The shipping will start in fall this year. The new trim level to the Encore lineup is Buick’s strategy to strengthen its foothold in the compact crossover market.
The 2017 Buick Casada Sport Touring is powered by a 1.4 litre 4-cylinder engine with 153 hp and 177 lb-ft of torque (a significant increase on the standard encore 1.4 litre turbo four engine) coupled with a six speed automatic transmission. The standard version is a Front Wheel Drive, but customers can order all-wheel drive at an additional cost.
The True Blue Metallic paint on the exterior is paired with a black cloth top made from three layers of fabric structure.
The visual enhancements include a roof-mounted spoiler, fog lights, body-coloured door handles and 18-inch Y spoke alloy wheels. The interior features a 120-volt power outlet, auto-dimming rear-view mirror and a remote starter. The safety is ensured through Side Blind Zone Alert and Rear Cross Traffic Alert.
The price starts at $37,885 which is inclusive of shipping. Deliveries to dealerships are expected in fall.
