The 2017 Honda Civic Hatchback looks all set to make a comeback this fall. Last time a Civic was offered in hatchback body style was way back in 2003. Honda has now made public the finer details about the 2017 Hatchback Civic and we have it covered for you.

Manufactured at the Honda’s plant in Swindon, UK, the 2017 Honda Civic Hatchback will be offered in three versions namely LX, EX-L and EX. There will only be a single powertrain entailing a turbocharged 1.5 litre 4-cylinder engine producing a power of 174 horses and 162 pound feet of torque hooked up to CVT as a standard offering. Customers can also opt for a six-speed manual transmission through LX, EX and Sport trims. A higher The Sport Touring and Sport versions of the latest hatchback would supply a higher power of 180 horses.

The ride will render a combined fuel economy of 34 mpg with 31 mpg within city and 40 mpg on the highways. The safety features of the 2017Honda Civic Hatchback include collision mitigation braking, lane keeping assist, forward collision warning and adaptive cruise control.
