Now driving Mazda 3 and Mazda 6 will be even more fun, as the automaker has made public the latest tweaks to its 2017 midsize as well as compact models. More importantly, driver assist technology will be a part of the 2017 models, which in itself is a significant upgrade. The 2017 Mazda 3 and Mazda 6 will now be equipped with the G Vectoring Control technology.
The G Vectoring Control technology assists drivers through subtle manipulation of acceleration, steering and suspension for effective handling of the ride. The drivers will feel calm in the new models, as better sound proofing and weather stripping have been added.
After getting upgraded only last year, the modifications in the Mazda 6 are just a few. These include traffic sign recognition, advanced blind spot detection and lane keeping guidance. The midsize sedan will now be offered with an optional manual transmission and Mazda Connect infotainment system.
The marquee model of the company, Mazda 3 will also be updated in the 2017. The tweaks are new LED headlights, taillights, retrofitted grille and a modified rear bumper for some trims. The steering wheel will be leather wrapped ensuring more comfortable grip according to the company. A standard electronic parking feature will also be offered with the new model.
Although the pricing is not officially released, the new models are slated to hit the road next month and we just cannot wait to get behind the wheels.
