It will be a power pack combo for the fans at the Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance, as they will have an extensive viewing of the Bugatti Chiron as well as Bugatti Vision Gran Turismo concept. Bugatti has confirmed the showing of its two hyper cars. Besides Pebble Beach, Chiron will also be displayed at The Quail: A Motorsports Gathering.
The Bugatti Vision Gran Turismo concept first made its debut appearance at the Frankfurt Motor Show in 2015. The powertrain of the ride was W16 and the design was inspired by the legendary Type 57 Atlantic. It was launched as part of the 15th anniversary celebrations of the Gran Turismo video games.
Bugatti Chiron is the successor of the blockbuster Bugatti Veyron. It is portrayed as a strong contender for the best super car ever produced. The Chiron is powered by a supercharged 8.0 liter W16 engine delivering 1,479 horsepower and a torque of 1,180 pound feet. It will carry a price tag of €2,400,000.
The brain behind the two hyper cars is VW Group’s designer Sasha Selipanov. The original blueprint revealed by him entailed considerable styling differences between the two cars.
The Monterey Car Week begins from August 16 and will last till the following Sunday. Keeping in view the treasure at display, the event should be an instant hit.
