The new 2018 Range Rover Sport Coupe is all set to give its rivals like BMW X6 and Mercedes Benz GLE a true run for their money. The ride has been spied in camouflage in Nurburgring where it is being tested for performance.

The rear windscreen has a much faster rake line along with a sloping rear roofline. The interior of the ride is reported to be the same as in the renewed Range Rover Sport, apart from some suspension tuning under the skin for optimized track performance instead of off road heroics. Jaguar Land Rover’s state of the art InControl Touch Pro infotainment system will also be part of the car’s interior.

However, the styling has been redefined in order to give vehicle a sporty and compact look. Rumours have it that new or altered doors will be a part of the sporty ride.

The new 2018 Range Rover Sport Coupe will be offered with different powertrains. They are likely to start with Ingenium family four-cylinder 2.0 litre engine. Finally, there will be a range-topping 5.0 litre supercharged V8 engine powering the SVR variant.

We will keep our fingers crossed, as the sports coupe is expected to hit the roads in the second half of next year.
