The new Citroen C3 is scheduled to debut at the 2016 Paris Auto Show, however the official pictures have been leaked, which reveal the sporty design of the new hatchback.

The new Citroen C3 exterior styling is heavily inspired from the C4 Cactus crossover which made its debut in 2014 at the Geneva Motor Show. The key exterior elements include a thin front grille, slim LED headlamps and a plastic body kit. On the sides, we can see the automaker’s exclusive Airbump door inserts.

In terms of dimensions, the new Citroen C3 is 3990mm long, 1750mm wide and 1470 mm tall, which make it bigger in size compared to the outgoing C3 model.

Not much is currently known regarding the powertrain, but we can expect it to carry three and four cylinder engines available in both gasoline and diesel configurations. It will be a front wheel drive hatchback with a manual gearbox. But automatic transmission will also be available at an extra cost.

The Citroen C3 is a successful model in Europe with sales number surpassing 3.6 million since the hatchback was launched in 2002. The new model is going to be unveiled on its official presentation live over the web on 29th June 2016 in Paris. We could see it closely at the Paris Motor Show. Finally, the car will go on sale in the fall of 2016.
