Mercedes has quietly introduced the CLA 45 AMG Edition 1.
Set to go on sale shortly, the Edition 1 is distinguished by a gloss black rear spoiler, graphite grey side stripes and matte black 19-inch alloy wheels. The car also has red accents on the grille, mirrors and wheels.
Interior changes are limited but include ARTICO/DINAMICA sport seats, a leather/DINAMICA-wrapped steering wheel and red contrast stitching. There’s also an ARTICO-wrapped dashboard, special badging and AMG floor mats.
Like the standard model, the Edition 1 is powered by a turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine that develops 360 HP (265 kW) and 332 lb-ft (450 Nm) of torque.
It is connected to a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission and an all-wheel drive system that enables the sedan to accelerate from 0-100 km/h in 4.6 seconds and hit an electronically-limited top speed of 250 km/h (155 mph).
