Jeep seems planning to replace the Compass and Patriot SUVs with a new model and we have received the spy shots. The 2017 Jeep Compass replacement was spotted on a loading truck along with other prototype models. Though it was camouflaged, but we can still figure out the shape and few details of the new compact four-wheeler.
The 2017 Jeep Compass replacement looks similar to larger Grand Cherokee. It will feature a stretched and widened version of the same platform, which is found in Jeep Renegade. The photographer also managed to take pictures of the interior. It seems like the cabin is pretty much similar to the current Jeep Renegade.
Under the hood, the 2017 Jeep Compass replacement is expected to carry a 2.0-litre turbocharged four-cylinder engine paired with a nine speed gearbox
The production is expected to begin later this year and this new model will replace both Compass and Patriot.
