The McLaren 650S made its debut in 2014 and now the automaker has decided to replace it with a new model, codenamed ‘P14’.

A report from Autocar suggests that the replacement for McLaren 650S will be unveiled next year, possibly at the Geneva Motor Show. During the recent 2016 Geneva Motor Show, McLaren announced its ‘Track22’ business plan, according to which they will launch 15 cars by 2022 and the ‘P14’ will be one of them.

Autocar further explains that this new car will feature a 3.8-litre twin-turbo V8 engine which is already found in couple of McLaren cars. McLaren CEO Mike Flewitt stated that the 650S successor will offer a host of new upgrades including an enhanced powertrain and more visual drama.

More information regarding the ‘P14’ sports car will be unveiled soon by the automaker.
