The new 2017 Hyundai G80 sedan has made its debut at the automaker’s home country, alongside the Genesis G80 Sport trim. Both the vehicles were revealed at 2016 Busan Auto Show yesterday.
In Korea, the 2017 Hyundai G80 is accessible in two engine options i.e. a 3.8-litre V6 that delivers 311 horsepower and a twin-turbocharged 3.3-litre V6 unit with 365 horsepower. The automaker plans a diesel powertrain as well.
An 8 speed automatic transmission system paired to rear wheels is standard on all models, however customers can also opt for all-wheel drive G80.
Cosmetic updates on the new G80 are minor compared to the previous model. It sports new bumpers and slightly upgraded headlamps and front grille.
The Genesis G80 will arrive in the US later this year and will compete with the likes of BMW 5-Series, Cadillac CTS and Mercedes-Benz E-Class.
