The Swedish automaker Volvo has recently used snapchat to tease a new concept, which will probably be XC40 CUV. Volvo will also debut other concepts (reportedly, other models will include S40 sedan and V40 wagon) next week during a primer in Gothenburg, Sweden.
What we already know is that the new concepts will be based on company’s new CMA platform, which has been created in collaboration with Chinese automaker Geely.
Taking a close look to the image above, it looks like a compact crossover. It can also be confirmed by the caption on one of the images company released, saying “Not your daddy’s Volvo.”
Reportedly, the crossover will be offered in a plenty of options including three- and four-cylinder mills as well as electric and plug-in hybrid models.
Due to the high demand of crossovers in the market, we expect to see the XC40 CUV on the road in 2017.
