Some years back, the Swedish racing crew Cyan Racing ventured into producing road-legal vehicles, commencing with a revamped version rooted in the Volvo P1800. Their subsequent creation harks back to the graceful 1960s coupe but exudes a unique grand touring vibe. Crafting starts with an authentic P1800, and each assembly consumes 12 to 15 months. Cyan Racing has already dispatched this verdant beauty with a creamy interior to a patron in the United States.

Distinguishing itself from the original 2020 rendition, this updated P1800 boasts a gentler, entirely adaptable suspension system for enhanced comfort during lengthy travels. Correspondingly, the cabin has been furnished with extra sound-absorbing materials and a custom-made titanium roll cage. It retains its nimble essence, weighing in at under 2,204 pounds.

Underneath the P1800 GT lies a turbocharged 2.0-liter gasoline engine, boasting 414 horsepower at its zenith, with lower trims kicking off at 345 horsepower. Sourced from the Volvo S60 TC1 racer, this four-cylinder powerplant is paired with a bespoke five-speed Holinger gearbox, prioritizing drivability over raw power. Crafted from carbon fiber, the stunning body is pieced together by Cyan Racing in Gothenburg, Sweden.

While pricing remains undisclosed, considering the regular P1800 can fetch up to $700,000, expect the GT variant to come with a hefty price tag. Limited production is anticipated, with a second unit already shipped to the US.
