The UAE Police will be using smart police cars around expo 2020 to handle the sudden influx of people around the event. The new Smart Police Cars, equipped with cameras, radars and advanced remote control features will manage the growing number of tourists to UAE, expected to be present at the international event.
The concept of Smart Police Cars has been invented by Mubara Abdul Rahman Al Hashemi, officer at the General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs in Abu Dhabi. According to him, the Smart Patrol will connect on road vehicles to the Operations Room at Abu Dhabi Police along with other advanced technology features. The smart petrol will also play a key role in monitoring and controlling the traffic security on the road.
Al Hashemi has been awarded with many medals from high authorities including the likes of Lieutenant General, Shaikh Saif Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Minister of Interior and Deputy Prime Minister for his useful contribution to the UAE police department. He has also won 47 certificates of appreciation from his own department and office of Assistant Undersecretary of Naturalisation, Residency and Ports Affairs.
