The Danish luxury automaker Zenovo is back in the spotlight with its latest Zenovo TS1 supercar, which was launched at the 2016 Geneva Motor Show.

It carries a newly developed 5.9L twin-supercharged V8 engine, in addition to a flat plane crank and a carbon fibre intake. The powertrain can be mated to either a seven-speed paddle shift gearbox or a seven-speed race style inspired dog box. The Zenovo TS1 also comes with some exterior enhancements such as a new front splitter and a rear wing a diffuser, which increases the downforce, thereby improving the aerodynamics.

Talking about the Zenovo’s past, the company launched a supercar named ST1 in 2009, which was equipped with a turbo-charged V8 engine capable to deliver up to 1,100 horsepower. It was designed beautifully to go head to head with the likes of Koenigsegg and Pagani. However, for certain reasons, the ST1 wasn’t a huge success. But with the upgrades in the TS1, Zenovo seems confident that this supercar will surely give a hard time to the competitors.

The pricing details have not been announced yet, but we expect it to be somewhere around $875,000. Only 15 examples of the Zenovo TS1 supercar will be built and the company has already started taking orders.
