The 2016 Audi Q2 has been unveiled at the 2016 Geneva Motor Show. The new Q2 is a stylish addition to compact crossovers with dimensions aligned to models like Skoda Yeti. Based on Volkswagen Group’s MQB platform, the 2016 Audi Q2 introduces many new design features such as single-frame grille, rectangular headlights, unique c-pillar treatment and low roof.
The vehicle boasts an entirely new shape compared to its siblings, since all the previous Audi models were criticized for looking similar.
The vehicle is 5.0 ft tall, with length and width of 13.7 ft and 5.9 ft respectively. It offers a storage space of 37.1 cubic ft. The 2016 Audi Q2 comes equipped with a range of engines; the standard version has a turbocharged 1.0 litre to deliver 144 horsepower, while the advanced version retains a turbocharged 2.0 liter to produce 187 hp.
The vehicle features Android Auto and Apple Car Play infotainment systems. Even though, the price is not finalized, reportedly the price will be around £21,000, and will become available for sale somewhere in the last quarter of 2016 in Europe.
