GMC has announced pricing for the all-new 2017 Acadia which will be ready for shipping this spring. The latest Acadia is priced lower than its predecessor and offers more features as standard equipment.
The 2017 Acadia is 700 pounds lighter than the outgoing model. The lineup includes 8 variants with the Acadia SL FWD starting at $29,995 and the top of the line Acadia Denali AWD at $47,845. The new All Terrain model ($40,040) features an advanced AWD system with Active Twin Clutch for a superior off-roading experience and GMC plans to offer an SLE based option as well.
Powered by a 2.5 litre engine with an estimated 28 mpg highway for Front Wheel Drive, the 2017 Acadia has Start/Stop technology as standard feature across the lineup which further improves fuel efficiency. Customers can also choose a 3.6 L V6 engine (310 hp) which has a towing capability of around 4,000 pounds.
The latest active safety features in 2017 GMC Acadia include Front Pedestrian Breaking, Following Distance Indicator, Surround Vision Camera system, Safety Alert Seat, Lane Keep Assist with Lane Departure Warning, Lane Change Alert with Side Blind Zone Alert, Parking Assist and Front Collision Alert. A new standard feature has also been added which alerts the driver if occupants have left any items in the second and third row seats.
