The Aston Martin Vulcan driver training has been initiated in Abu Dhabi at the Formula One racetrack, Yas Island.
Priced at $2.3 million, the exclusive Aston Martin Vulcan is powered by a 7.0 litre V-12 (820 hp) coupled with 6 speed sequential transmission to power the rear wheels. The company has planned for only 24 production models. This is Aston Martin’s first track only vehicle and following the trend set by Ferrari and McLaren, the supercar comes with a Vulcan driver training course to create a complete racing experience for those lucky enough to afford it.
The racing enthusiasts/trainees were accompanied by Darren Turner, Aston Martin’s factory racing driver. The first day saw the owners start off on the V12 Vantage S road car and moving onto the Vantage GT4 before getting a chance to test the racing capabilities of their own Vulcans. Drivers were given first hand lessons and test drove the cars in different environmental conditions.
