Koenigsegg has made world’s most expensive car key, custom made for a particular owner, which is estimated at $250,000 dollars. While the key is not currently available as a factory option if enough customers show an interest it very well could become a standard feature of the supercar.

It is made of platinum, onyx and is surrounded by diamonds. It is produced by Optimal Innovative Solutions – the company responsible for the diamond hood ornament for Rolls Royce.
The world’s most expensive car key has been dubbed King of Keys – a name worthy for the ornamental masterpiece which is encrusted with 40 carats worth of diamonds. It’s certainly a worthy accompaniment to a car that costs $2.8 million.
