This year’s Qatar Motor Show surely caught the attention of car enthusiasts around the world thanks to the highly extraordinary and beautifully designed concept revealed at the show, dubbed as the Elebreia. It is a two door coupe with a crazy body kit which makes it no less than a sports car from future.
The Elebreia concept carries a General Motor’s V6 powertrain that churns out a mighty 525 horsepower. The body is fully covered in carbon fibre for improved aerodynamics and to ensure maximum performance. It weighs only 1 ton (2,200 pounds).
The Elebreia concept was designed by a group of students at the University of Texas A&M, Doha campus in Qatar as a part of a research program. Since it’s just a concept right now, there is no news if it will go into production.
Meanwhile, the designer of the car, Abdul Wahab Diaulla has already announced that another similar sports car is in the making.
