The 2017 Honda Ridgeline has made its world debut at the 2016 Detroit Auto show. It uses a 3.5 litre V6 engine similar to the Pilot V6 to produce 280 horsepower and 262 lb-ft of torque paired with a six-speed automatic transmission. Both the front and all wheel drive versions are available.

Other prominent features include an In-Bed Trunk, in-bed audio system and a dual action tailgate that make the 2017 Honda Ridgeline a premier midsize pickup for tailgaiting.

The Ridgeline’s interior is equipped with latest technologies such as tri-zone climate control and an 8 inch Display audio, compatible with Apple Car Play and Android Auto. The folding seats further make the 2017 Honda Ridgeline a utility vehicle to not only transport 5-6 people but also accommodate large household items.

The top-level safety performance would enable the Ridgeline to target the NCAP 5-star Overall Vehicle Score from the NHTSA and a TOP SAFETY PICK+ rating from the IIHS. Honda Sensing™ technologies would comprise of Lane Departure Warning (LDW), Collision Mitigation Braking System™ (CMBS™), Forward Collision Warning (FCW), Road Departure Mitigation (RDM) and Lane Keeping Assist (LKAS).

Influenced from Honda’s Global Light Truck, the new Ridgeline is designed and manufactured in the United States and will be released for sale within the first 6 months of 2016.
