The South Korean automaker has finally revealed its luxury Genesis G90 sedan at the Detroit Auto Show 2016. The Genesis sub-brand has been in the news for quite a time, and now the automaker has joined the likes of premium German and European brands by introducing its first model of the luxury lineup.
The Hyundai Genesis G90 sedan will be offered in two different powertrains, a 5.0L V8 engine that churns out 420 horsepower and a 3.3L V6 unit that delivers 365 horsepower. The engine is paired with 8 speed automatic transmission system, plus the optional all-wheel drive variant will be available too. It boasts 4.5 inch larger wheelbase than the Equus sedan which makes it more spacious.
The Hyundai Genesis G90 sedan interior features a 17 speaker audio system with a sub-woofer, and if you buy the range topping model, you’ll also get dual 9.2 inch touch screens on the back of front seats.
The base trim will start at $38,000 in the US. There is no news about its arrival in the UAE.
