The 2017 Mercedes E-Class has been officially revealed at the 2016 Detroit Auto show. With an elegant and athletic car design and 2.0L 4 cylinder engine that produces 241 horsepower, the latest 2017 Mercedes E-Class is beyond doubt the most extravagant executive car available in the auto market.
The new E-Class marks the 10th generation of the E-Class series. The “Touch Controls” installed on its steering wheel assist drivers to control the dual screen infotainment system with an absolute ease. However, the sensors only respond with gloves on and can be swiped similar to your smart phone.
The safety features of 2017 Mercedes E-Class include the automatic braking and a flexible driver-alert system. The braking system looks out for the vehicles to avoid dangerous car accidents. In addition, the car’s steering also comes preinstalled with some moves to assist drivers for avoiding accidents.
These new E-Class features take the company one step closer to its aim of manufacturing the autonomous cars. The 2017 E-Class will be released this summer, however, the price is not revealed yet.
