Audi interior future concept, revealed at the 2016 Consumer Electronics Show, took enhanced user-experience to a whole new level with a virtual dashboard and Car-to-X service.

The interior displayed at the CES featured an AMOLED (active-matrix organic light-emitting diode) which recognises hand gestures and can interact with smartphones and some wearables. Arguably the most fascinating feature of this already superior system is the haptic feedback through which the system can respond to the user. In simple terms, the system is capable of letting the driver know the command/gesture has been recognised.

The Audi interior future concept also included the first ever service to connect a car to road infrastructure (traffic signals and hazard information). The car-to-X service connects via the mobile service provider network to the central traffic computer (for US only).

Last but not the least, Audi’s full-electric sport SUV was also exhibited. The e-tron Quattro concept is powered by 3 electric motors outputting 370 kW and has a range of up to 500 km.
