After the tremendous success of the standard version, the 2016 Chevrolet Camaro convertible is all set to go up for sale next year wearing a starting price tag of $33,695.

Carsdirect.com managed to get their hands on the ordering guides of the latest Chevy Camaros and the speculation says the second model mentioned in the list is the open top version. The 2016 Chevrolet Camaro convertible will feature a turbocharged 2.0-litre four-cylinder engine that would generate 275 horsepower and 295 lb-ft of torque.

Compared to the outgoing models, the base Camaro convertible will be equipped with a V6 powertrain and will be $1,495 cheaper than the 2016 model. If you want the 2016 Chevrolet Camaro convertible carrying a V6 engine, it is priced at $35,190 and is $2,990 expensive that the previous model. The range topping 2016 Chevrolet Camaro 2SS powered by a 6.2L V8 unit starts at $49,295.

These prices have not yet been confirmed by the GM Motors, so we would have to wait a couple of days to get the official report.
