The 2017 Acura NSX is perhaps the most exotic and the most expensive hybrid supercar which we will get to see next year. Starting at a price of $157,800, it carries a potent 3.5L twin-turbocharged V6 engine mated to two electric motors that jointly produce up to 573 horsepower. The fully loaded trim is priced at $207,500.
Compared to the most popular sports cars that were introduced this year and will make their official debut in 2016, such as the McLaren 570S and the Lamborghini Huracan LP580-2, the 2017 Acura NSX is not that mechanically advanced, however its price is almost equal. The main competitor of the 2017 Acura NSX will be the Audi R8 which also renders a high power output, though it’s pricing has not yet been revealed.
According to automaker, the 2017 Acura NSX is a built-to-order vehicle and its configurator will be available on the company’s website by February 27th, 2016.
