The first vehicle for the Hyundai’s premium Genesis brand has finally been revealed, known as the Hyundai Genesis G90 sedan. Being a flagship model, the G90 has replaced the current Equus sedan.

In terms of size, the Hyundai Genesis G90 is larger than the outgoing Equus sedan and pretty close to the Mercedes S-Class, with an overall length 204.9 inches and wheelbase of 124.4 inches. As revealed earlier by the automaker, the G90 employs a new “Athletic Elegance” styling theme which makes it appear muscular and bold, while keeping that luxury element intact.

The Hyundai Genesis G90 will be accessible in three powertrains; a new 3.8-litre V6 engine with 311 horsepower, a 3.3-litre turbocharged V6 unit producing 365 horsepower, and the most superior 5.0-litre V8 that generates 419 horsepower.

Being a luxury vehicle, the Hyundai Genesis G90 also packs some latest technological features as well as safety equipment including a 12.3-inch high-definition screen, 360 degree camera view, wireless phone charging, adaptive cruise control with lane keep assist, autonomous braking with passenger detection, blind spot monitoring and more.

Currently the G90 will only be obtainable in the Korean markets, where it’s known as the EQ900. However, we can expect it to arrive in the international markets next year.
