We already knew that the 2016 Mercedes-Benz GLS class will receive some updates, but now a French car blog Worldscoop.forumpo.fr has revealed pictures of what appears to be a brochure of the upcoming Mercedes-Benz GLS-Class. The automaker has also decided to rename the series to GLS as per the new naming strategy.

The pictures show that the new GLS boasts an aggressive front fascia featuring sporty LED headlamps, redesigned bumper and a much larger Mercedes 3 star logo.

Powertrain might remain unchanged for the all-new 2016 Mercedes-Benz GLS, as it was updated recently for the 2015 model line-up. Currently, the GLS class is offered in 3 powertrains, a 3.0L V6 diesel engine generating 240 horsepower, a V6 petrol mill producing 362 horsepower and a 4.7L V8 unit that supplies 429 horsepower.

The new GLS will make its debut on November 18 at the Los Angeles Auto Show and will arrive at the dealerships shortly as the 2016 model. We do not have any information yet regarding its arrival in the Middle East.
