The famous co-hosts from Top Gear posted a photo of Amazon Prime new car show on Twitter. The photo shows Clarkson, Hammond and May posing in front of a Ferrari LaFerrari, McLaren P1 and Porsche 918.
Amazon has been secretive about the show after having paid an exorbitant sum to win the bidding on the auction for the infamous Top Gear Trio. The show’s name has yet to be disclosed, though, Clarkson’s law firm has registered the trademark “Gear Knobs”. But, the latest on the news is, Clarkson tweeted it won’t be Gear Knobs.
Clarkson and Hammonds comments on Twitter:
“With a skeleton crew, filming for Amazon Prime’s new motoring programme has begun,” Clarkson wrote, with Hammond adding: “The band is back together and it feels brilliant.”
Amazon reportedly had a staggering budget of $250 million for the Amazon Prime new car show which doesn’t quite line up with a skeleton crew for the programmes first shoot. Nevertheless, the spectacular line-up of the top sports cars shown in the photos promises to make the show worth waiting for and the shroud of secrecy seems to build up anticipation for viewers.
