The Japanese automaker is ready to unveil an all-electric Mitsubishi eX Concept at the 2015 Tokyo Motor Show, going to be held on October 29. The concept vehicle will probably be launched with the Outlander Sport nameplate next year.

The Mitsubishi eX Concept employs some state-of-the-art features which would make it a tough crossover to beat especially featuring a number of autonomous technologies and a good single charge range of more than 200 miles.

The compact crossover sports Mitsubishi’s Dynamic Shield motif in the front and split C-pillar in the back. The inside is created with soft materials to give it a light appearance. The powertrain includes a twin-motor system paired with Mitsubishi’s Super All-Wheel Control (S-AWC) offering Auto, Gravel and Snow driving modes to meet the needs of different driving conditions.

The autonomous features comprise of autonomous parking system, highway driving assistant and obstacle avoidance system. To know more about the new eX Concept, stay tuned as we cover the Tokyo Motor Show.
