The much awaited Bugatti Chiron which is set to be launched at 2016 Geneva Motor Show in March, was exclusively unveiled to selected, prospective buyers at the company’s headquarters in Molsheim.

The price of the car was also disclosed at the time, as per which the supercar is estimated to cost around $2.5 million. With the starting price of this version being high, it is no surprise that the convertible model and the special limited edition model would also be sold at premium prices.

The car’s horsepower is expected to exceed 1,500 while generating 1,106 lb-ft of torque, thus enabling it to reach 60mph within two seconds and attain a top speed of 288mph.

While extensive details of the car have been kept under wraps, it is speculated that the car will retain certain exterior design elements from its iconic predecessor – the Veyron.

According to reports, notwithstanding how pricey the vehicle is, 10 deposits have already been made by customers for the hypercar. Further specifications of the Bugatti Chiron will be revealed during its grand debut at the Geneva Motor Show next year.
