Toyota has previewed the new Toyota Land Cruiser 200 series with some big improvements at an event in Japan. The sports utility vehicle came anew in 2008 and received major updates for the model year 2013, while 2nd course of changes in the final upgrade are in progress.

The all-new 2016 Toyota Land Cruiser will be featuring a big booty, muscular body with stylized contours, and redefined grille, headlamps, bumper, fenders and hood. Apart from that, rear lights are also remodeled, while the chrome strip now runs across the full width of the SUV.

The interior of the 2016 Toyota Land Cruiser has attained some refinements as well, including smoother upholstery, revitalized instrument panel and the simple mapping of console buttons and switches that operate audio, air-conditioning and other functions. There will be additional safety, monitoring and few more driver aid tech-features as well.

The US version of the powerful 4X4 is expected to be powered by the current 5.7 litre V8 engine, which generates 381 hp and 401 lb-ft of torque, assisted through an 8-speed automatic transmission system.

More details will be revealed during the launch of 2016 Toyota Land Cruiser this autumn, so stay tuned.
