Two months back, Lamborghini confirmed a roadster variant of the Lamborghini Aventador LP 750-4 SuperVeloce. And keeping its promise, the automaker has revealed the open top LP 750-4 SV at the Pebble Beach Concoursd’Elegance. The bad news is that only 500 units will be built, and they would sell out as quickly as the standard coupe versions did when it was introduced.
Talking about the powertrain, it will be equipped with the same 6.5-litre V12 found in the SV coupe that generates 740 horsepower and accelerates from 0-60 mph in less than 3 seconds with a top speed of around 220 mph.
The interior is also identical to the standard SV coupe featuring Alcantara and leather seats. The weight of the SV roadster will be 50 kg more than the Coupe, but that does not mean it will compromise on performance.
The pricing for the Aventador LP 750-4 SuperVeloce roadster is not announced yet, but we expect it be somewhere around north of $490,000.
