Are you also one of those who were not so impressed with the BMW 3.0 CSL Hommage that debuted earlier in May? Well, the German automaker sure knows how to make its disappointed fans happy and has introduced second version of the car called the 3.0 CSL Hommage R which will be unveiled at the Pebble Beach Concoursd’Elegance this week to celebrate the BMW North America’s 40th anniversary.

The 3.0 CSL Hommage R has received a number of major cosmetic changes including a more dominant front splitter and wider kidney grille. The side skirts and 21-inch matte gold wheels combined with an aggressive rear section and attractive head and tail lamps make this coupe one of the sickest BMW creations ever.

The most intriguing feature is found on the inside. The heads-up display is not shown on the instrument panel, rather it is integrated into the driver’s helmet visor. The front panel is of course more advanced than the previous model.

There is no official word regarding the power-train yet, so we will have to wait when the automaker reveals more information.
