The Rolls-Royce Dawn has been caught recently during a test drive, breaking the secret looks of the convertible version of Wraith coupe. The automatic retractable roof has somewhat shrunken in its capacity, which will instinctively affect the car’s cargo carrying capacity.

The leaked images disclose that the overall looks are similar to Wraith, but the soft cloth roof helps us recognise that it is indeed the latest convertible that the automaker hinted previously.

Among other discerning traits, the rear side is modified a little, dropping the raised cross-section, switching it with a deck lid.

The Dawn breathes fire through a 6.6 litre twin-turbocharged V12 engine, which churns out 634 hp, rushing the car from 0-60 mph in about 4.4 seconds before reaching the top speed of 155 mph. The vehicle has a curb weight of 5,200 lbs.

The new Rolls-Royce Dawn is expected to take the stage of 2015 Frankfurt Auto Show, while the sales will commence next year.
