Hyundai Tucson Fuel Cell has covered a distance of 1,480.70 miles in 24 hours, ceaselessly commuting back and forth between Vattenfall’s hydrogen station and Shell hydrogen station, located in HafenCity, Hamburg and Sachsendamm, Berlin, respectively.
The feat was pulled by Arnt-Goran Hartvig and Marius Bornstein, who tried to show the world how much time the new fuel cell car can save, as the Tucson only takes 3 minutes to refill, saving the drivers maximum time to keep it rolling on the road. GoPro dashboard cams were used to chronicle their drive. It is not the first time that the pair has done something exotic; they also hold a 435 mile record in a single tank, while travelling from Oslo to Monaco, on the same vehicle.
The Japanese automaker is very proud of its long range and environment friendly car, as Hyundai Tucson Fuel Cell is setting the new milestones for future technology.
