One of the sickest BMW race car available right now is Z4 GT3 that has recently won the SPA 24 Hours and secured a 2nd position in Nürburgring 24 Hours. But now a new and more advanced sports car, the M6 GT3 racer is on its way to replace the Z4 GT3.
The powertrain specifications will be the same as the regular version which carries a 4.4L twin-turbo V-8 paired with a six-speed sequential transmission that generates 560 hp and 500 lb-ft of torque, however, the performance will be tweaked a little for the M6 GT3 racer.
To further improve its performance and make it even better than Z4 GT3, the body kit of M6 GT3 has been aerodynamically designed using composite materials that significantly reduce the weight to around 2,866 pounds ensuring an outstanding performance.
The M6 GT3 racer is expected to make its debut at the Hankook 24 Hours of Dubai or Rolex 24 at Daytona as reported by the BMW Motorsport director Jens Marquardt at the recent SPA 24 Hour racing event.
