BMW has announced to showcase its latest concept cars during the upcoming Monterey Car Week, due to take place this August. The German carmaker will be presenting two models on the celebration of its 40th anniversary.

In an official press release, BMW North America invited the media bodies to chronicle an exclusive premier of automaker’s latest release of concept cars at the prestigious car event. However, we are yet to find out whether the performance-focused concept vehicles will be rolled out from automaker’s own ranks or subsidiaries like MINI and Rolls-Royce.

Moreover, the details and specification of these automobiles are still unclear, but enthusiasts would soon be able to meet the mystery cars during the Monterey Car Week, which will take place at Pebble Beach. Further public showcases are also planned to be conducted during the sequential Monterey occasions like The Quail, A Motorsport Gathering, Legends of the Autobahn Concours d’Elegance, Rolex Monterey Motorsport Reunion and Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance.
