The most successful and accomplished Formula One engineer, Adrian Newey stepped down from the F1 racing last year, but now has signed a contract with Red Bull. The reports suggest that Red Bull is planning to build a new hyper in collaboration with Aston Martin getting help from Adrian.

Right now the details regarding the powertrain are scarce, but it is expected that Adrian will use a Mercedes-engine, and this new hypercar will compete head to head with the likes of McLaren P1 and Ferrari FXX K.

In the past too, we have seen a number of Formula One teams partnering with luxury automakers to create unique super cars. Recently, the British automaker Jaguar teamed up with Williams Advanced Engineering to build a C-X75 hybrid electric concept car which gained tremendous popularity worldwide. Therefore, we can expect the same from the Aston Martin and Red Bull partnership, when this hypercar is revealed in 2018.
