Bentley is looking forward to increase its product line-up by adding two new vehicles which include a sports car, most probably similar to the EXP10 Speed 6 concept and a SUV which will join the Benteyga crossover that is expected to launch somewhere in 2016 and 2017.
The Chairman of Bentley, Wolfgang Dürheimer made a comment saying that in November, the company will start the production of its long awaited Benteyga and after that they will initiate work on these 2 new vehicles. Regarding the market research, Bentley’s sales chief, Kevin Rose said that the customers gave a very positive response when asked about Speed 6. The Speed 6 concept was revealed at the Geneva Motor Show and it quickly gained popularity due to its eye-catching exterior design.
As for the crossover, it will be designed to be preferred mostly by young age groups and women. Since it is expected that the Benteyga will be built on MLB platform, we believe the new crossover might share its platform with a Volkswagen’s vehicle too.
Expect the new vehicles to hit the markets somewhere after 2020.
