Teaser images from Nissan give a hint of the forthcoming Juke-R Nismo which is set to be introduced at the Goodwood Festival of Speed. As the name suggests, this unique crossover will feature Nismo products, which means we can expect a significant performance upgrade.

Talking about the previous Nissan Juke-R, it carried a 3.8-litre turbocharged V6 producing 485 horsepower enabling it to accelerate from zero to 60 mph in just 3 seconds. If the GT-R powertrain installed in the standard Juke-R could deliver such phenomenal performance, then we can easily expect the Juke-R Nismo to generate around 600 horsepower.

Judging from the teaser image, the new Juke-R Nismo features some exterior enhancements too, which include a front spoiler, lowered suspension, huge air intakes, bonnet scoops and an improved set of wheels, so performance upgrade is not the only thing we will see in the new Juke-R Nismo.

The automaker has not provided much information regarding its new crossover and we will have to wait till it gets revealed at the Goodwood to know specific details about it.
