While the Audi fans desperately wait for the next-generation A8 to arrive in the markets, the automaker has announced a sport variant for the 2016 Audi A8 which features some major upgrades. However, the Audi A8 Sport will get the same powertrain available in the standard model i.e. a twin turbocharged 4.0 T V8 that can deliver 435 horsepower and 444 pound-feet of torque.
Nevertheless the styling of the Audi A8 Sport is enhanced and resembles more with the Audi S8. The new upgrades include a redesigned front bumper, side skirts as well as 19-inch alloy tyres. The interior includes a Bose sound system and a WIFI hotspot option.
The automaker has not yet revealed any information regarding the price of the sport variant, but we know that the standard 2016 A8 carries a price tag of $82,425.
