Named as the ‘Best Value Family Car’ by The Greater Atlanta Automotive Media Association (GAMMA), the new 2016 Mazda CX-5 has arrived in Oman and garnered a lot of attention with spanking new additions in style and features.
Several of its exterior and interior upgrades include new LED head-, tail-, and fog lamps available on upper trim levels, a revised five-bar shield grille, a new Mazda Connect infotainment system with a 7-inch touchscreen which uses an Audi MMI-like multi-function wheel on the console, Parchment leather seats, a grippy leather-wrapped steering wheel and simple, easy-to-use climate control knobs and buttons.
Its engine when powered can go from 0 to 60 mph in just 7.7 seconds and even includes an added sound insulation to reduce engine noise. New sets of 19-inch alloy wheels have been added along with two new exterior colours, Titanium Flash Mica and Sonic Silver Metallic.
