The Stig’s in the eyes of a car enthusias

Being a car enthusiast, I’m enamored by anything related to cars and their counterparts. In the UAE, the car you drive says more about you than anywhere else I’ve ever lived; are you the Mazarati-driving DIFC consultant? Are you the outgoing and adventurous Land Cruiser type, ready to take on the desert waves? Or are you the family guy, ready to pack the kids up in that first minivan?

When people want to consider buying a car, I’m their go-to reference with all their juggling questions: do I buy a new car although I don’t know how long I’ll be staying? Do I trust in getting a second-hand car? Can I live the Emirati dream, and finance that BMW or Porsche, because I probably can, whereas back home, the stars were closer? The story never ends there for me.

As a car enthusiast, I like to pretend that my job is as cool as The Stig’s. But unfortunately my reality is, I can only relive the character when watching OSN’s “Top Gear” on MBC4; easily one of the best shows on television! We all know of the show – it’s one of the most watched shows in the world! Personally, this program helps keep me up-to-date with all the new automotive inventions, market competition and vehicle prices.

I also make sure I catch every motor related show on on BBC and MBC MAX, including MegaFactories SuperCars, which showcases all the iconic exterior/interior designs for latest and vintage cars, and Nat Geo HD’s Wheelers Dealers, a show that transforms car models from the 70s with a limited budget and wild ideas in order to gain profit. Also, Fast N’ Loud makes the list on the Discovery HD channel. I obviously can’t get enough, but love how many options I have with the OSN network. OSN Sports brings a host of major international sporting events among many, but most importantly of course: Motor Racing. All in glorious HD. Read more about OSN’s packages on their website.
