The Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) has launched Q-coded number plates via customer service centres, the RTA website as well as driver and vehicle service apps for smartphones. A total of 700 number plates bearing the code will be made available to UAE residents until the end of August 2016.
According to an RTA representative, the objective behind this initiative is to provide convenience to its customers accessing their desired number plate in the minimum time possible. It is the first time ever, the license plates have been made available to the public this way.
The Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) is committed towards ensuring maximum convenience to UAE residents on the road as well as make certain that everyone upholds the law.
