Volvo has now officially confirmed that it will add upgrades from its official Volvo factory racing team, Polestar to the standard Volvo models. A few months back, the Swedish automaker announced to produce a new line up of S60 and V60 polestar models due to the increasing demand and also planned to spread the goodness of the polestar models to the latest Drive-E turbocharged four-cylinder engines.
The upgrades focus to tweak the mid-range performance consequently improving the driving dynamics of the vehicle. Talking about the upgrade, Polestar said that it will improve mid-range performance and will greatly help with the power you would need when overtaking or driving on a busy highway. The throttle reply is enhanced for quicker engine response, while the pedal response is upgraded too. Finally, the gearbox has been improved for an increase in shift speed, which means that the car would be able to accelerate more rapidly.
The company says, the polestar upgrades will be available in the next two months.
