South Korean automobile manufacturer, Kia Motors has announced its plan to auction off the King James Edition, the Kia K900. Kia and its luxury ambassador, Lebron James have collaborated with Charitybuzz to put the customised sedan to auction. The proceeds from the sale will be forwarded to the ambassador’s LeBron James Family Foundation.

The one-off Kia model is pearl red in colour and has a metallic exterior with black accents and 22-inch diameter wheels. The windows are tinted with Llumar ceramic film. The auction is currently in place and will officially close on May 7, 2015 at 3.00PM Eastern Time.

The K900 made its debut at the NBA All-Star game held in the Madison Square Garden and has been exhibited in auto shows at Cleveland and New York. The exclusive model of Kia’s K9 boasts a 5.0L V-8 engine that produces a power output of 420hp and a torque of 376 lb-ft with eight-speed auto transmission to power the rear wheels.

The NBA star’s foundation aims to further improve the lives of children & young adults through education and education-related co-curricular initiatives from the amount raised at the auction.
